Crystax Pharmaceuticals and Uriach sign a contract for new anti-inflammatory drug development

Biotech company Crystax Pharmaceuticals and Uriach Laboratories have come to an agreement for the development of new anti-inflammatory drugs. The research contract between the companies, with headquarters in the Barcelona Science Park, establishes the structure determination of a target protein by X-ray crystallography and the later molecular screening for hit-to-lead candidates. Crystax is a pioneering firm in the Spanish biotech market focused in structure determination technology. Uriach is a pharma company established in 1838 with a wide presence in Spain.
